    Description

    Anchor Hocking Pink Depression Panel Optic Pitcher
    This item is a pink depression pitcher jug. This pitcher was made by either Hocking Glass or Lancaster Glass. In 1924 Hocking Glass Company acquired controlling interest in the Lancaster Glass Company. These pitchers were shown in both Lancaster and Hocking catalogs as the #380 80 ounce Jug. They were sometimes etched with the Grape pattern. This pitcher is made with a panel optic pattern. There are 3 rings at the bottom of the pitcher. This pitcher is 8 1/4" tall, and measures 7 3/8" diameter including the spout and handle. There is a small ding in the top of the pitcher and is shown in picture #6. The glass is not missing in this spot, but it is rough when you run your fingernail over it. There are some minor scratches and scuff marks. They do not distract from the piece and I only mention them for accuracy. The seam on the side of the pitcher where the spout is, is off center. There are no other chips, cracks,or breaks.
