    Description

    Offered for sale and just unpacked from a box that I packed away 25-30 years ago comes this amazing and extra large mixing bowl.  The color is FIRED-ON ORANGE or RED and I believe that the manufacturer is Hocking.  The reason for my assumption is that Hocking (before the Anchor-Hocking merger) made most of the fired-on orange and red glassware of the Depression Era.  There are some beautiful canisters, salt & pepper shakers, and orange decanters out there that match the color of this piece.  This large bowl is in EXCELLENT CONDITION and measures 10 1/2 inches across (just a bit shy of 10.5) and stands 5 inches tall.  The color is amazing and I see almost no loss of paint.  The inside of the bowl is clear although the color shines through and it looks orange / red.  I would call this color more orange than red but please see the photos to decide for yourself.  This bowl would add a great touch of color to your collection or maybe it matches your other pieces.  Please see all of the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  You will be very pleased with this bowl!!
